Join The 14th Walthamstow Scout Group

We’re incredibly proud of the demand for Scouting in our area, but it does mean we currently have a very large waiting list.

As we begin opening our new Squirrels section (ages 4–6), we will be moving some younger children from the waiting list into this new provision.

If you would still like your child to join our waiting list, please email your child’s name and date of birth to:

However, please be aware that we are currently only accepting children under the age of 6 onto our waiting list. Due to very high retention in our existing sections, the likelihood of older children being offered a place is unfortunately very low.

We are always keen to grow and offer more places, but this is only possible with more adult volunteers. If you’re interested in helping, please visit our Volunteering page to find out more. While volunteering is hugely valuable and appreciated, it does not automatically guarantee a place for your child.
